- 5 chicken thighs, skin on, bone-in
- 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar, packed
Instructions
1. Add chicken, salt, pepper, and garlic to the slow cooker.
2. Optional: brown chicken skin-side down in a skillet for a few minutes.
3. Flip chicken skin side up.
4. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over the top.
5. Cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
6. Serve with parsley if you like.
Notes
- For crispier skin, brown the chicken first.
- Works with drumsticks or boneless thighs too.
- Serve over rice, potatoes, or noodles to catch the sauce.
