- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour (heat-treated)
- 1/3 cup Dutch-process cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
1. Let cream cheese and butter soften at room temperature.
2. Beat cream cheese and butter together until fluffy.
3. Add powdered sugar, cocoa powder, brown sugar, flour, milk, vanilla, and salt.
4. Mix until smooth and creamy.
5. Transfer to serving bowl and top with mini chocolate chips.
6. Serve with strawberries, pretzels, graham crackers, or cookies.
Notes
- Heat-treat all-purpose flour before using, or use oat/almond flour.
- Dutch-process cocoa gives a richer color and flavor.
- Swap dairy ingredients for plant-based versions if desired.
