Instructions
1. In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth and fluffy, about 2–3 minutes.
2. Add pumpkin puree, powdered sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves. Beat until fully combined and smooth.
3. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form, about 3–4 minutes. Do not overbeat.
4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the pumpkin mixture using sweeping motions to retain airiness.
5. Spoon mousse into serving glasses or bowls. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
6. Garnish with extra whipped cream, crushed gingersnaps, and cinnamon sticks just before serving.
Notes
Soften cream cheese completely to avoid lumps. For dairy-free, use coconut cream and vegan cream cheese. Prep mousse base up to 2 days in advance; fold in whipped cream right before serving for best texture.
