- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1/4 cup pesto
- 1/4 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or parmesan)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Roll out thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut out 12 heart shapes using a 3-inch cookie cutter.
3. Score a smaller heart inside each shape to create a border, being careful not to cut through.
4. Spread 1 tsp of pesto in the center of each heart.
5. Sprinkle 1 tsp shredded cheese on top of pesto.
6. Bake for 12–15 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
7. Let cool slightly and serve warm.
Notes

- Chill shaped hearts in fridge for 10 minutes before baking for extra crispiness.
- These can be made up to 24 hours ahead and baked fresh.
