Ingredients
Peach Mixture:
- 20 oz peaches (about 3 large peaches)
- 1.5 cups white granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups water
Peach Lemonade:
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (5–6 ripe lemons)
- 2 cups cold water
Instructions
1. Juice lemons, strain, and set aside the lemon juice.
2. Peel peaches, remove the pits, and slice them.
3. In a saucepan, combine peaches, sugar, vanilla extract, and 2 cups of water.
4. Bring to a simmer over medium heat. Cook until peaches are soft.
5. Strain the mixture into a pitcher. Add back some peach slices if desired.
6. Add remaining cold water and the fresh lemon juice to the pitcher.
7. Stir everything together and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
8. Serve over ice.
Notes
Adjust the sweetness to taste by adding 1/4 to 1/2 cup more sugar.
Best made ahead-chill for a few hours or overnight.
Store in an airtight pitcher in the fridge for up to 10 days.
For freezing, combine syrup and lemon juice, freeze as concentrate, and mix with cold water when ready to serve.
