  • Author: Sylvia
  • Total Time: 15 minutes
  • Yield: 12 skewers 1x

Description

These Strawberry Caprese Skewers are a fresh, colorful twist on the classic Italian appetizer ; sweet strawberries, creamy mozzarella, and aromatic basil drizzled with balsamic glaze.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 strawberries, halved
  • 12 mozzarella balls (bocconcini or ciliegine)
  • 12 fresh basil leaves
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze

Instructions

1. Wash and dry strawberries. Remove tops and slice each in half lengthwise.

2. Pat dry mozzarella balls thoroughly.

3. Skewer one strawberry half, one basil leaf, and one mozzarella ball onto a small skewer or toothpick.

4. Repeat with remaining ingredients to make 12 skewers.

5. Arrange skewers on a serving platter and drizzle with balsamic glaze just before serving.

Notes

  • For best presentation, add the balsamic glaze right before serving.
  • Strawberries should be ripe but firm to hold their shape.
  • Use part-skim or dairy-free mozzarella for dietary preferences.
